Ad Astra would like to remind all stakeholders, parents and carers that we are continuing to work in these unprecedented times. As we are classed as key workers, we have continued to work with our young people both virtually and face to face, putting new risk assessments and health and safety procedures in place to assure all of our staff and students are safe.
We have been working in smaller groups and 1-1 sessions, with all PPE provided and safety measures put in place to an exceptionally high standard.
We would like to remind all parents and carers to inform us if your child starts with any symptoms as soon as possible such as
Cough
Fever
Flu like symptoms
Unusual loss of taste and/or smell.
We would advise that a test for COVID to be carried out and to isolate until your child or anyone in the household has received results.
In the event of a negative result - your child can return to Ad Astra
In the event of a positive result - we would need confirmation of any positive result and to ensure you or your child isolate until you are back to full health. Please contact us at your earliest convenience regarding a positive test so we can inform our staff and any other children they may have been around during their time at Ad Astra.
